Rhinexa NMS · Network monitoring and management

Your entire network. One live view.

Discover devices, watch them continuously, map how they connect, and alert your team the moment something degrades, from one self-hosted console with no agents on devices.

Deployment
Self-hosted on your infrastructure
Collection
Agentless: SNMP, ICMP, LLDP and CDP, syslog, traps, flow
Evaluation

The Rhinexa NMS overview: reachability, alerts, bandwidth, topology and device health across the estate, on one screen.
The problem

Network teams should not need five tools to answer one question.

When the estate is split across monitoring, topology, traffic, alerts and configuration, the answer is spread everywhere, and nights are spent stitching tools together instead of restoring service.

01

Monitoring lives apart

Health and reachability sit in one console, disconnected from topology and change.

02

Topology is elsewhere

How devices connect is drawn in another tool, if it is drawn at all.

03

Alerts lack context

A threshold fires without a clear path to the port, VLAN, neighbour or circuit.

What you get

One platform. Every answer.

Four questions cover most of network operations. Rhinexa NMS answers all four from the same console, against the same live inventory.

01

What is on my network?

Scan an address, a range or a subnet. Live hosts are found, named, classified and kept in an inventory that updates itself.

02

Is it healthy?

Reachability, CPU, memory, storage, temperature, response time and interface state, polled on a schedule and stored as history.

03

What is it doing?

Per-interface throughput, errors and discards, WAN utilisation and flow analytics that show which conversations consume capacity.

04

What just changed?

Threshold and reachability alerts with acknowledge and resolve workflow, plus syslog, SNMP traps and an audit trail of operator actions.

How it works

From discovery to resolution.

The same six steps every time an incident happens, without handing you off to another tool.

  1. Discover

Sweep a subnet or add a device. Hosts are found, classified and added to inventory.

  2. Monitor

Reachability, interfaces, counters and system health are polled and stored as history.

  3. Detect

Thresholds and reachability rules raise a deduplicated alert and notify your team.

  4. Investigate

Drill from the alert to the device, interfaces, VLAN, neighbours and traffic.

  5. Resolve

Acknowledge, act with previewed changes where supported, then resolve the incident.

  6. Report

Availability, bandwidth, alert and inventory reports on demand or on a schedule.

Capabilities

Built to replace a shelf of point tools.

Every capability below ships in the current console.

01
Automatic discoveryScan an address, range or subnet; hosts found, named, classified and kept current.
02
Continuous SNMP monitoringReachability, interfaces, errors and performance polled on a schedule with time-series history.
03
Live topology mapThe network draws itself from LLDP, CDP, ARP and neighbour data as the estate changes.
04
Proactive alertingDeduplicated threshold and reachability alerts with acknowledge, resolve and notification delivery.
05
ISP and WAN monitoringPer-link bandwidth, latency, jitter, loss and outage history, so you have evidence before users complain.
06
PoE monitoringPer-port power draw, budgets and port state for phones, cameras and access points.
07
Safe VLAN managementLive VLAN inventory with command preview before apply, rollback and an audit record.
08
Flow and traffic analyticsNetFlow and IPFIX collection plus per-interface and per-VLAN analytics to spot saturation fast.
09
SLA and availability proofUptime, downtime and outage counts per device over any period, as documented evidence.
10
Reporting and scheduled emailAvailability, bandwidth, alerts, health and inventory as CSV, PDF or JSON, on demand or scheduled.
11
Device health and sensorsCPU, memory, disk, temperature and response time with history for critical devices.
12
Central log collectionBuilt-in syslog and SNMP trap receivers with severity filters and search.

Also included

  • IP address management with conflict detection
  • MAC and ARP inventory
  • Maintenance windows
  • Configuration backups
  • Multi-vendor support
  • REST API
  • Email, chat and webhook notifications
  • SNMP v1, v2c and v3

Rhinexa NMS is

  • A self-hosted console on hardware you own, inside your network boundary
  • Agentless collection using the protocols your estate already exposes
  • One inventory behind status, topology, traffic and alerts
  • Previewed, reversible configuration changes where supported

Rhinexa NMS is not

  • A cloud service; nothing in the monitoring path leaves your boundary
  • An agent on every device
  • A security detection platform; Rhinexa Sentinel is the passive detection and evidence layer
  • A replacement for your change process; edits are previewed and audited, not bypassed
Where it fits

Built for the environments teams actually run.

The same platform covers a single segment or a distributed estate.

01

Network operations

One console for status, topology, traffic and alerts across the estate.

02

Enterprise IT

Infrastructure monitoring with role-based access and an audit trail.

03

Data centre

Device, interface, topology and traffic visibility across switching, routing and server connectivity.

04

Campus networks

Connectivity and device monitoring across floors and buildings, including VLAN and PoE views.

05

WAN and branch

Per-link utilisation, latency, jitter, loss and outage history against each circuit.

06

Controlled estates

No mandatory cloud in the monitoring path; suitable for air-gapped environments.

Deployment and security

Your network. Your infrastructure. Your data.

Collection, storage and the dashboard run on hardware you own, inside your own network boundary.

01

Role-based access control

Administrator, read and write, and read-only roles; writes and administrative actions gated centrally.

02

Hardened authentication

Protected credentials, signed sessions and rate-limited login with lockout after failures.

03

Protected device credentials

SNMP communities and device secrets encrypted at rest and never returned to the browser.

04

Audit and event visibility

Logins, configuration actions and access denials recorded alongside syslog and traps.

05

Previewed, reversible changes

Supported VLAN and port edits show the exact commands before apply, with rollback and an audit entry.

06

No mandatory cloud

Suitable for air-gapped and controlled estates.

Questions

Frequently asked.

Is Rhinexa NMS self-hosted on our infrastructure?
Yes. Collection, storage and the dashboard run on hardware you control, inside your own network boundary, with no mandatory cloud service in the monitoring path.
Do we need agents on network devices?
No. Rhinexa NMS uses the protocols your estate already exposes: SNMP, ICMP, TCP, LLDP, CDP and ARP, syslog, SNMP traps and flow records. Nothing is installed on monitored devices.
Can one console replace our shelf of monitoring tools?
That is the operating model. Discovery, topology, health, traffic, alerts and configuration context resolve to the same live inventory.
Are configuration changes previewed before they are applied?
Supported VLAN and port edits show the exact commands before apply, with a rollback point and an audit-log entry.
How long does an evaluation take?
A guided walkthrough takes about 45 minutes. An evaluation deployment reaches discovery-to-dashboard on hardware you already have.
